An ongoing villa recovery project in Porto de Mós, Lagos, taken on after the original contractor left the property mid-build.

With the client based abroad and work stalled, Orla Algarve coordinated with the architect and contacted the previous building company to establish an independent understanding of the site's condition. We reviewed the existing project documentation and prepared a detailed build-stage record of completed work and the work still required.

Urgent site issues were addressed before negotiations with a replacement contractor. This is the project featured in our guide, “What to Do When Your Builder Walks Off Site”. The photographs show the villa and its current work-in-progress details.
